This In old fashion butcher shop with food quality found very little places within the continental US...Third World Quality First World Location!!!!The Salmon salad combined with a side of fresh organic egg salad Is a fitness geeks energy meal of the universe. 5 dollar for a small bootle of water. Only possible in aspen.

I love this place, I think it's one of the better more affordable places in Aspen to eat. The bologna sandwhich is to die for and is under five dollars. They are always fast and super friendly. Always try and stop in for a sandwhich when we are in town.

I love the sandwiches here. They can be a little pricey; however, when you take a bite into the sandwich you will see where the extra money went.

Ordered Turkey & Swiss with Mayo on Marbled Rye. I received turkey & Swiss with MUSTARD on marbled rye. I can’t eat mustard. Worse - two pieces of turkey folded over and two pieces of Swiss folded over for $11.50!!!Didn’t come with chips or side. What a RIP OFF! When I called Butcher Block to complain about mustard instead of mayo the guy on phone argued with me and said the orders are verified/repeated back to make sure correct. Yes. That’s true and the gal who took order read order back with “MAYO”. It was made incorrectly. They did not offer to make a new sandwich or refund. Only - I was wrong and they were right. I’m not worried about &11.50 - it’s the bad attitude and lack of customer service. If you want a great sandwich and well worth the money - go to Grateful Deli on Main. They will make it right and treat you right. I will NEVER return to Butcher Block for sandwiches.

Really unimpressed. I got a highly overpriced vegetarian sandwich. I know this is Aspen, but usually the food quality matches the price. This did not. Service was slow, staff was mildly friendly, and ordering was a bit confusing. Would not return.

Butcher Block is one of my go-tos whenever I'm hungry in Aspen. They have wonderful sandwiches and soup.

The best ingredients make the best sandwiches. The provolone is worth the price of the sandwich!

Best spot to stop for a quick lunch in Aspen or to pick up some quality meats for dinner from some top notch butchers. Ask Jack for a joke- he's got lots!

Great deli with really good sandwiches and deli salads. Perfect for getting a picnic lunch to go.

NOT GOOD. SANDWICH MAKER IS NICE BUT OWNER AND MANAGER ARE SO AFRAID OF VIRUS THEY WILL monitor your wearing of a mask to the point where you can't enjoy your meal too bad I couldn't eat here I had to walk out in the middle of ordering because my mask was not below my chin even though it covered my mouth and nose too bad enough business is lost as it is

Decades of quality. My family and I have been coming to Aspen for winter /summer for decades. And the butcher shops has maintained quality of their seafood, steaks and gourmet products. A must!

Good but pricey.

Stopped in for lunch hoping to get a good pastrami on rye, didn't happen.... for $17 I got a depressing attempt at a pastrami on what they may claim is rye, and a small coleslaw that tasted like they put a bag of slaw mix and a jar of knockoff mayo and mixed it together. Both sandwich and coleslaw were a bland overpriced lunch that I will not repeat.

Awesome as always. I got hooked up by Jim with nice steaks and potatoes

Pretty good selection but i really prefer someone wear gloves when they handle my seafood couldnt stop thinkin bout that all day

I've been a loyal customer for years! I get better food here than anywhere in center city Philadelphia! I'd be lost wo these guys.

What an amazing place to stop and eat at... everything Was perfect from food to service- people working there are friendly and had good conversation! We came from Tulsa for the week and stayed at the little nell. ... . ate there nearly every day.. yum !
